The Black Diamond sales team has been hard at work so far this year, connecting with current and potential customers at several industry events. In February, we had a booth at the annual Society for Protective Coatings (SSPC) Conference in Orlando, Florida. This event helps us connect with top prospects in our industry, and stay up to date on the challenges our customers and distributors are facing.
Later that month, we attended Tractor Supply’s Annual Sales Meeting. Black Diamond abrasives are available in more than 1,700 Tractor Supply stores nationwide, helping us serve even more locations and lower-volume orders. This meeting is a great opportunity to connect with store managers who stock and promote our products.
In March, Regional Sales Manager, Dean Whaley, attended the Houston Coatings Society’s annual painting competition, where Black Diamond was also promoted as a Platinum Sponsor. Dean commented that the event offered great networking opportunities for the rapidly growing Texas market.
“As we gear up for more seasonal projects,” explained Dean, “connecting with customers face-to-face and being visible in the industry keeps us top of mind when they are ready to place an order.”
